How do I use the Museum Adventure Pass program?
Participating attractions include Brookfield Zoo, Cantigny Park, Chicago Botanic Gardens, and more! Visit any public service desk at the library to check out a pass with your West Chicago Public Library card. Please keep in mind that:
- You will need to show your library card to get a pass.
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis as there are a limited number of passes for each attraction.
- We will need to give the pass to you in person, at the library. Unfortunately, Museum Adventure Passes cannot be reserved/checked out online or over the phone. However, you’re always welcome to call us at 630-231-1552 to ask about pass availability before traveling to the library.
- Only one Museum Adventure Pass may be checked out at a time, per family.
- Passes must be used within a week of the date printed on the pass, although they can be used at any time during that week.
- Passes can be used only once and are non-transferable. Your name will be printed on the pass and you may be asked to show identification at the museum or park. Passes will be collected by the attraction you are attending.
- Discount offers vary by museum. For some, two or four people may be admitted free per pass, or by carload. If admission to the museum is already free, other special discounts are offered.
