April 6, 2021 is the date for the consolidated general election for Library Trustees. There are four trustee positions open for re-election; three (3) four-year terms and one (1) unexpired 2-year term.
Nominating petition packets for the April 6, 2021 consolidated election for the office of Public Library District Board Trustee will be available for curbside pickup beginning September 22, 2020 at the West Chicago Public Library District, 118 W. Washington Street, West Chicago, IL 60185 Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m. Alternatively, nominating petition packets can be downloaded from the Library’s web site (Petition Packet).
Candidates’ petitions must be filed in the same office Monday, December 14th to Friday, December 18th from 10:00a.m. — 4:00p.m.; and Monday December 21st, from 10:00a.m. — 6:00p.m.
Candidates’ names will appear on the election ballot in the order in which their nominating papers are received.
